When you use the LifeCycle website, limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage data may be collected to support functionality, performance, and security.

6. Photos and Location Data

When you use the app to capture photos for travel or logging, LifeCycle may extract coordinate information (metadata) to assist with location recall, such as finding a parked vehicle.

This location data is used only for the specific function requested within the application. LifeCycle does not use your location for background tracking or monitoring your movements outside of intended application functions.

7. Backups and Exports

You have full control over the backup and export of your data. These processes are user-initiated and determined by your actions.

You control where your backup files are stored, whether on your device or in a cloud storage service you have configured. Because LifeCycle does not manage its own central cloud database, we cannot access or recover these backups for you.

8. User Rights

We have no way—nor any interest—in identifying individual users through this data.

If your device is compromised, or if you store unencrypted backups in insecure locations, your LifeCycle information may be at risk. We encourage you to maintain strong device-level security.

Your data persists within the application as long as you keep the app installed or until you manually delete specific records. Backups you create persist in the locations you have selected until you remove them.
